Introduction

I am not very fond of kidney beans but love chili, this recipe is a great way to have it all. I am not very fond of kidney beans but love chili, this recipe is a great way to have it all.

Ingredients

    1 large onion, diced
    2 cloved garlic, diced
    1 lb ground turkey
    2 15 oz cans of black beans (undrained)
    1 can crushed tomatoes (14.5 oz)
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/1/2 Tbsp Chili powder
    1 Tbsp dried orgeano
    1 Tbsp dried basil

Directions

In a large heavy bottom pot, on medium heat, cook onion and garlic until onions are translucent. Introduce turkey and brown. Stir in the remainder of ingredients. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for one hour stirring occasionally.
