Introduction

Sodium reduced Low Fat Turkey Chili. Sodium reduced Low Fat Turkey Chili.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb low fat ground Turkey breast
    3 cups chopped onion
    3 cups chopped green peppers
    3 cups chopped celery
    4 -28 oz canned Tomatoes no salt added
    2- 8oz can Tomato Sauce no salt added
    1-6oz can tomato Paste no salt added
    2 -28 oz can Black Beans 50% sodium reduced
    3 cloves minced garlic
    3 T ground cumin
    1/8 to 1/4 cup Chili Powder to taste.
    4 T ground Oregano
    2 T Olive oil

Directions

Makes 12 -10 oz servings
Brown turkey in olive oil. Add celery , onion, green peppers.and cook for 20 minutes. Add garlic, chili powder to taste, oregano , cumin, tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Cook for one hour. Drain, rinse black beans and add. Cook for another 20 - 3 mins.
Serve with Non Fat Cheddar Cheese and Non Fat sour cream.
