Introduction

Fast, easy, wholesome and low in fat! Good combination of carbs and protein. Fast, easy, wholesome and low in fat! Good combination of carbs and protein.

Ingredients

    4 pork chops
    1 (14 oz) can peas (reserve liquid)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of mushroom and onion works well!)
    1/4 cup chopped onion

Directions

*makes 4 servings*

Arrange pork chops in casserole. Combine peas, 1/4 cup of the pea liquid, soup and onion. Pour over pork chops and cover.
Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees; uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes.

  • I used frozen peas with 1/2 cup of low-sodium chicken stock and covered the mix with a mix of 2 TBS seasoned breadcrumbs and 1 TBS parmesan cheese. - 3/23/12
