Introduction

Off the Rice Box, Super Good Off the Rice Box, Super Good
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Make with our without chicken, or add tuna
    2 Bags White Rice, Boil in Bag Kind
    1 tsp veggie oil
    8 oz mushrooms, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tblsp flour
    1 cup, 2%milk
    1 cup cheddar cheese
    10 oz frozen broccoli, thawed and drained
    salt to taste
    nonstick cooking spray

Directions

Preheat Oven to 375,
Cook Rice according to package directions,
heat oil in medium skillet,
saute mushrooms, onions and garlic for 5 mins, SPrinkle flour over mixture and stir until everything is fairly well coated,
Add milk and bring to boil
Reduce heat and cook for 5 mins
Stir in 3/4 cup chesse and heat until melted
Add brocolli, rice, and grilled chicken pieces
Mix WELL
Spray a casserole dish with cooking oil, and add mixture.Sprinkle top with remaining chees and cover with aluminum foil
Bake for 10 mins.
Makes 6 servings approx.

    This was so tasty and delicious!! made a salad and garlic bread along with it, and it was perfect!! I made it with rice from my rice cooker and it was right on! - 11/22/11
