Ingredients

    Jennie O Turkey Smoked Sausage, 14 oz (remove)
    Dried Lentils, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Garlic, 2 clove (remove)
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Scallions, raw, 2 medium (4-1/8" long) (remove)
    Chicken Broth, 21 fl oz (remove)
    Canned Tomatoes, 1.5 can (remove)
    Chili powder, 2 tsp (remove)
    Paprika, 2 tsp (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Olive Oil, 1.5 1tsp (remove)
    Swiss Chard, 300 grams (remove)
    thyme

Directions

Heat oil in pressure cooker pan. Saute sausage until browned. Transfer to a dish, leave fat in pan (there should be minimal left). Add onion and 1/2 tsp salt to the pan with the fat. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic, paprika, chili powder, and thyme. Cook until fragrant. Stir in tomatoes, broth, water, lentils, and sausage. Bring to a boil, add chard, cover with lid and lock lid. Bring to pressure level 1 according to your pressure cookers instructions. Cook 10-14 minutes. Allow to release pressure using the natural release method. Serve over rice.

    You can make this without a pressure cooker. Soak lentils for about 30 minutes, drain. Follow directions on recipe. - 12/30/12
