Introduction
I played off of a cookbook recipe ( I never follow a cookbook recipe to the letter) and came up with this.... I serve it with a side of frozen steamed broccoli (sometimes with the cheese sauce depending how many calories I have left for the day. lol) I played off of a cookbook recipe ( I never follow a cookbook recipe to the letter) and came up with this.... Ingredients
-
3 Chicken Breasts ( Boneless & Skinless) - Fresh or Frozen.
2 14.5 oz Cans of Sliced Stewed Tomatos
1 Yellow Bell Pepper - Cut into strips
Directions
Add all ingredients to crock pot -
If you are using fresh unfrozen chicken breasts you will want to cook on LOW for 6 hours
Frozen chicken breasts take about 8 hours on low -
On both if you need it faster you can cook on high for 2-3 hours less as long as you can keep an eye on it so the chicken does not dry out. (Fresh chicken breasts - HIGH for 4 hours- Frozen on HIGH for 4-6 hours)
At anytime if your chicken is fully cooked you can turn it down to low or even warm until dinner time.
As you all may know ALL crock pots are different so times may have to be adjusted.
Serving is between 1 - 1 1/2 chicken breasts I put it in as 2 servings... Happy eating!!!
