Introduction
This is a low fat recipe that does the trick for me. I use Xylitol which is good for diabetics, pregnant women, and your teeth! Google it, I use this instead of sugar or other sweetners. No fat No sugar! You can also find the Natures sweet dark chocolate bars there. Both can be bought at wholesale on www.naturessunshineproducts.com. Please use sponsor #21696902 as I get credit for introducing you to the site. This is a low fat recipe that does the trick for me. Ingredients
-
1 150z. container fatfree ricotta (about 2 cups)
2 tbsp. (6 tsp) of xylitol (google it, it is a sweetner you can also use the same amount of confectioners' sugar-but this will add calories!)
2 bars of Natures sweet dark chocolate bars, melted, plus more, shaved, for topping
Directions
In a food processor, blend the ricotta, xylitol, and melted chocolate until smooth. Divide among 5 small bowls and top with the shaved chocolate. (It can be refrigerated until ready to serve, up to 2 days. Bring to room temp before serving.)
If you want a little change you can add 1 tsp. of flavored extract or sprinkle nuts on top. (I love using hazel nut pieces!)
