Ingredients

    1/4 oil, 1 medium onion chopped, 3 cloves garlic crushed, 1/2 stick pepperoni sliced, 1 28 oz can crushed tomoatoes, 1 6 oz can tomoato paste, salt to taste, 1 tsp pepper, 3 tsp sugar, 1 can northern white beans undrained and 1 lb ditalini pasta cooked

Directions

saute onion in oil till transparent, add tomatoes, paste, garlic, pepperoni, salt, sugar, pepper, parsley (optional) and water (2.5 cups). Bring to a boil and simmer for 3/4 hour slowly. Then add beans and continue to simmer for 15 minutes. Cook ditalini. Drain and add sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese.
