Ingredients

    1 tbsp oil
    1 ½ lb chicken
    4 large carrots
    4 green onions
    3 stalks of celery
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 tbsp sugar
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
    ¼ tsp ground ginger
    1 garlic clove
    8 oz bean sprout
    8 oz water chest nuts
    ¼ cup cornstarch
    ½ cup water

Directions

Cook chicken in hot oil or use Pam cooking spray to save on Calories. Add main ingredients except cornstarch and water. Cook on low 6 – 8 hours. Add water and cornstarch to mixture after the 6-8 hours cover and cook on high until thick 15 – 30 minutes.
