Introduction

This pizza is made with 2% cheese and there is no oil in the crust. It makes a tasty thin crust pizza that is lower in calories than from the restaurant! I have a few extra tips at the end of the recipe to help save more on fat, which cannot be put into the food calculator, but your own body will KNOW! Ingredients

    1/4 oz. yeast
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 cup water - 110 degrees
    1 3/4 cup flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sauce (Ragu or Chef Boyardee)
1 cup Kraft 2% low fat mozzarella
1/4 cup Kraft 2% mexican blend cheeses
    15 slices pepperoni

Directions

Mix yeast and sugar, add warmed water and let rest for 8 minutes. Preheat oven to 500 degrees (put baking stone in if you are using one.) In a separate larger bowl, mix flour and salt. Pour yeast mixture over flour mixture and mix with wooden spoon. Turn dough on a floured surface and knead for 2 minutes. (You can also knead in a Kitchen Aid or other similar mixer.) Roll dough out to a 12" circle. Place dough on greased metal pan or on an already heated baking stone. Spread sauce on dough and bake for 5 minutes. Pull out of the oven and sprinkle with cheeses lay pepperonis on top, finish baking for about 5 - 8 minutes more.

Now the calculator did not have Kraft 2% mozzarella cheese, so you can reduce your fat by .5 each piece than what it says. AND if you want to save on some of the fat of the pepperonis. Lay a paper towel on a paper plate. Lay the pepperonis in a single layer on towel, put another paper towel on top and microwave 30 seconds. Blot pepperoni and put it on pizza... notice all the fat left on the paper towels... This is also not included in the calculator, but your body will love you for it!!!

    Very Good
I've tried some type of home pizzas before. I would like to try this one. It looks great. I would just have to trim some of the sodium and fat content down a little. - 5/31/17
