Introduction
I adapted this recipe from "Sloppy Joe Stew", found in "The Everything One-Pot Cookbook". The original recipe was made with ground beef, more potato, and salt, but no basil or garlic. I wanted to add some taste and make a lighter version, more consistent with my new healthy lifestyle. The original was intended for stovetop cooking, but I made it in my crockpot. Bon Apetit!
