Ingredients

    black beans, chick peas, frozen spinach, salt, cumin, minced garlic, wheat crackers, olive oil.

Directions

Rinse off black beans and chick peas in colander, they come pretty saturated with sodium. In a food processor or blender combine beans, chick peas and spinach, blend to desired consistency, you want it a little chunky but still pasty. Next, Add in seasonings and crushed crackers. You can play around with adding more spice, perhaps some paprika or something with more kick would work too. I only used 1 tsp. of olive oil to cook it in. Since the beans and chick peas are precooked you can simply warm everything and brown each side of the patty. I like mine a little crispier so I watch for it. Makes 2 burgers.
