Introduction
These easy spinach appetizers are much better than the cliche chips and spinach dip! These easy spinach appetizers are much better than the cliche chips and spinach dip!Number of Servings: 24
Ingredients

2 packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed
8 whites eggs, beaten
1 can low fat cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 package/roll reduced fat crescent roll dough
Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Unwrap the crescent roll dough and place in the bottom of a 9"x13" baking dish. Pat the dough to fill out the dish and press around seam area to close the seams. Drain thawed spinach well and squeeze out extra water. Mix with the soup, cheeses, nuts and pepper. Pour the mixture on top of the dough. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
This recipe makes great appetizer squares but can also be cut into larger squares and served as an easy lunch recipe with a salad.
