Ingredients

    1 pound ziti
    1 large broccoli crown
    1 pound chicken tenders, cut into chunks
    1/2 stick butter
    4 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 cups skim milk
    2 Tbsp. light cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. fresh grated parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp. corn starch

Directions

Boil water. Add ziti and broccoli. Add salt to taste. Cook till done. Drain and set aside.

Cut chicken into large chunks. Salt and pepper the chicken. Saute chicken in melted butter in large frying pan. Add chopped garlic and saute till tender. Add milk, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese. Stir till melted. Mix corn starch into 2 Tbsp. milk till well-combined. Add to sauce in pan and stir till thick and bubbly.

Transfer ziti and broccoli into large pan. Add chicken and sauce to the ziti. Stir to combine. Enjoy!

    This was incredibly good and fast. I made it with more chicken (4oz. per person), whole wheat ziti, cut the butter WAY back and used 1TBSP olive oil instead. With my changes the nutritional information came out with Fat: 12.7g, carbohydrates: 71.2g, calories:583.7 and Protein: 45.0g. - 10/14/09
