Introduction

This recipe started as a simple Pasta Fagioli and has grown from there. Sprinkle with some grated cheese for an extra treat. Great served with warm ciabatta bread. Ingredients

    1 lb. Turkey Polska Kielbasa
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 cloved garlic
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 cup diced carrots
    Non-stick spray
    1 can Hunt's Tomato Sauce
    6 cups of water
    1 can Small White Beans (rinsed)
    2 tsp. basil

Directions

Spray saucepan with non stick spray. Add kielbasa, onion, celery and garlic. Saute until the vegetables are translucent. Add tomato sauce, water, beans and basil. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 1 hour.

makes 10 1-cup servings.
