Introduction

Ingredients

    Raw sugar, .5 cup
    Milk, 1%, 1 cup
    Water 1 cup
    Banana, fresh, 2 large
    Juice of 1 lemon yields

Directions

Place the sugar and water into a saucepan and stir whilst heating the pan slowly. Bring up to boiling point and ensure the sugar has dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.
In a separate bowl, mash the bananas and stir in the juice from the lemon. Stir in the milk and the cooled sugar/water syrup made a little earlier. Transfer into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions about 45 minutes.
Serving size is about half cup.
