I was looking for something light, and that would not cause gas. Thought I'd throw some things in a pan and see what came up. Ingredients

    1 14oz can Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth

    About 8 baby carrots or 60 g chopped coarsely into bite-sized pieces

    1 stalk of celery or about 60 g chopped finely into small pieces (aprox 1/4" by 1/4")

    1/2 C brown medium grain Rice. (I use S&W brand)

    1 Bay leaf

    1/2 tsp Sea Salt

    1/4 tsp minced fresh garlic

    1 tsp dehydrated minced onion ground to a powder

Directions

add all ingreadients to a medium sauce pot. Cover, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook according to rice package directions. (about 30 minutes)
