Introduction

Ever wonder how many calories in those yummy meatballs or how many is too many? Ever wonder how many calories in those yummy meatballs or how many is too many?
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 lb extra lean ground beef
    1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    1 Tbs chopped fresh onion
    1/2 Tbs sweet basil
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp fresh chopped garlic
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    cooking spray
    1 large fresh egg

Directions

Preheat oven to 425. Line a small baking pan with foil. Mix all of the ingredients well (except for cooking spray) with your hands in a small bowl. Spray foil with 2 or 3 sprays of cooking spray. Form mixture into approx. 1 inch balls . Place meatballs on foil . Spray the tops of the meatballs with a light coating of cooking spray. Cover loosely with foil. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes. remove top foil and bake meatballs for 5 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 20 meatballs.
