Ingredients

    10 tablespoons of palm sugar (liquid form)
    10 tablespoons of fish sauce
    10 tablespoons dark soy sauce
    10 tablespoons of lemon grass, thinly sliced
    5 tablespoons of whiskey
    5 tablespoons of shallots, minced
    5 tablespoons of garlic, minced
    5 tablespoons of coconut milk
    3 tablespoons sesame oil
    1 tablespoon black pepper
    12 pieces chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

Directions

Makes 12 servings

Mix the marinade ingredients, except the coconut milk and in a saucepan or wok, simmer until reduced to about half the original volume. Allow to cool, and add the coconut milk, stirring until combined.

Marinade the meat* overnight in the refridgerator.

Grill on medium-high heat until the meat is thoroughly cooked.

* You can use this marinade with any kind of meat (poultry, pork, beef).
