Introduction
This beef curry uses Canadian grown Chick Peas, green peas, tomatoes and beef. Its cheap, easy to make, and full of fiber and protein with very little fat! Ingredients

* Chick Peas (canned), 1 Can rinsed
* Ground beef, extra lean, 1lb
* Peas, canned, 1 can
* Diced Tomatoes, 1 Can
* Curry powder, 4 tbsp
* Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
* Garlic, 3 cloves
Directions
1. Brown Onion and garlic in pan over medium heat and set aside.
2. Brown beef add to onion and garlic mixture in a saucepan
3. Drain and rinse peas and chick peas and add to saucepan with diced tomatoes.
4. Add Curry powder, stir, and simmer for 20 minutes or longer. Add 1/2 cup water if desired depending on how well drained the peas.
Best served over rice. Freezes well.
