I was trying to find a way to make pancakes a better choice for breakfast, and incorporate more flax into my familys diet (without my husband noticing) these pancakes turned out great! Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    *Flour, white, 1 cup
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 0.5 cup
    **Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 1 tbsp
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    *Canola Oil, 3 1tsp
    Egg, fresh, 2 large
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Milk, 1%, 1.25 cup

Directions

Mix all dry ingrediants together
slightly wisk eggs, mix with vanilla, milk and oil
pour into dry ingrediants, stir together but don't over mix
cook on hot griddle, use about .25 cup for each pancake
12 meduim sized pancakes
