Introduction

I often cook for myself, so the serving size is just for one. But it's easy to adjust for more people.

Condiments were left off, so feel free to add nonfat mayo or your favorite mustard and any veggies!

Scallions can be lessened or increased according to preference

Ingredients

4 oz extra lean ground beef
1 tsp dry onion soup mix
    1 tbsp low-fat cream cheese
    1 tbsp raw, chopped scallions
    1 Roman Meal Multi-Grain bun

Directions

Set oven to Broil to preheat

Take beef and onion mix and mash together in bowl, forming into a patty.

Mix cream cheese and scallions in a separate bowl.

Place burger patty on foil lined sheet in oven 4-5 inches from broiler. Allow the burgers to cook undisturbed with the oven door closed, removing the pan at the midway point to flip the burgers. For rare burgers, cook 3 minutes per side; for medium-rare burgers, 4 minutes per side; for medium burgers, 5 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second side; for well-done burgers, 5 minutes per side.

Spread onion cheese mix on buns or on burger patty, dress according to preferences.
