Introduction

A nice side dish that gives you a nice sweet treat! A nice side dish that gives you a nice sweet treat!

Ingredients

    1 small butternut squash (2-21/2 pounds), cubed
    2 tart apples, chopped
    1/3 a cup unpacked brown sugar
    2 TBS butter or margarine (hard kind)
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp salt

Directions

But squash in microwave for 5 minutes to begin cooking process. Add to dish with apples and mix together. In a seperate bowl add remaining ingredients, except margarine. Cut margarine in and crumble on top of squash and apples. Bake about 20 minutes until bubbly. ENJOY!

    Incredible!
    I sprinkled rolled oats on top. I did not microwave squash before baking. I did not use salt.

    I baked the casserole for 50 minutes at 350 degrees in corningware and then key it sit for twenty minutes.

    It was excellent!
