Ingredients

    • 2 cups quick cooking oats
    • 1½ tsp baking powder
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 egg white
    • 1½ cups skim milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 tsp vegetable oil
    • ½ cup no sugar added apple sauce
    • Cooking spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oats, baking powder, cinnamon, dark brown sugar and chopped pecans in a large bowl and mix to blend. Beat egg and egg white in a medium bowl and then add milk, vanilla, vegetable oil and apple sauce. Add milk mixture to oat mixture and stir well. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray. Pour oat mixture into pie pan and bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Makes 8 servings.
