Ingredients

    * 1 tbsp olive oil
    * 4 wild-caught salmon fillets (about 5 oz each)
    * sea salt
    * cracked black pepper
    * 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
    * 1 tbsp honey

Directions

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Season both sides of salmon with salt and cracked pepper.
3. Add salmon to skillet and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
4. While fish is cooking, in a small bowl whisk together vinegar and honey.
5. Add vinegar mixture to skillet and simmer until fish is fork-tender and liquid reduces and thickens, about 2 minutes.
6. For a thicker, reduced sauce, simmer for 3 to 5 additional minutes.

    It's not 616 calories. The problem is in the Ingredients Details. Instead of calculating for a total of 20 oz of salmon (4 fillets @ 5 oz each) she used 4 whole fillets which is way more fish. With the corrected amount of salmon tha calorie count is only 316 . - 6/16/09
