Introduction

Combine lean ground turkey breast and lean ground beef to make a delicious, nutritious meatloaf! Combine lean ground turkey breast and lean ground beef to make a delicious, nutritious meatloaf!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    3/4 c. Water
    1/3 c. Ketchup
    3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 lb. ground turkey breast
    1 lb. lean ground beef

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (I use my hands).
Spray Pam on a baking dish, meatloaf pan, or muffin tins.
If using a baking dish or meatloaf pan, shape loaf into pan or dish. If using muffin tin, divide mixture into 12 portions, make into balls, and place each ball into muffin tin. You can also create 12 patties and place patties in baking dish.
Bake at 400 for:
meatloaf pan: 1 hour
baking dish: 1 hour
muffin tin: 30 minutes
patties: 25 minutes

Check meatloaf before removing from the oven by inserting a food thermometer into the middle of the loaf. When the temperature reaches approximately 154 degrees, the meatloaf is done!

    Incredible!
    Made this the other night...baked it in an 8x8 pan. Moist and delicious! The turkey and beef go together well, but I used regular ground turkey (dark and light together) instead of the ground turkey breast. Thanks for the recipe!! - 10/11/11
