Introduction

This is a tasty sub to serve to the guys on a Sunday afternoon during the game. To make a healthier sub, serve the meatballs on a whole wheat roll and use half the cheese or none at all! Ingredients

    4 servings or about 24 Fit and Active turkey meatballs
    2 cups pasta sauce (I used Great Value brand)
    2 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, made with 2% milk
    4 Sara Lee Wheat hot dog buns

Directions

Place meatballs in slow cooker. Pour in spaghetti sauce. Give a quick stir before covering with lid.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours.

A few minutes before mealtime, heat skillet over a medium to medium-high flame. Open rolls and place face down in hot dry skillet. Once toasted as desired, immediately spoon hot meatballs and sauce onto roll. Top each roll with half an ounce of cheese before serving.

Makes 4 subs.
