Ingredients

    12 pcs of round steak, pounded thin (nutrition facts based on 1 3/4 lbs)
    12 TBSP of raw bacon, chopped (about 4 slices)
    12 TBSP of chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    2 TBSP butter
    3 TBSP canola oil
    beef stock, about 4 cups

Directions

Pound round steak very thin. Place 1 TBSP of raw bacon and 1 TBSP onion at one end of each piece of steak. Roll and secure with toothpicks. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Dredge meat rolls in flour mixture. Discard any remaining flour. Heat oil and butter in pan, brown meat rolls on each side. Add beef stock and simmer over low heat until tender, at least 2-3 hrs. Thicken the gravy if desired.

Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
