Introduction

Mixiig your own dry taco seasoning reduces the salt considerably. If you want to eliminate more salt, exchange the salsa for no salt added tomatoes, or low salt salsa. Ingredients

    2 T Chili Powder
    2 T Flour
    2 t Cumin
    2 t Oregano
    1/2 t Onion Powder
    1/2 t Garlic Powder
    1/2 t Cayenne Pepper
    8 T Herdez Salsa Casera
    1/4 c water

Directions

Combine all dry ingredients in a zip lock bag and shake until completely mixed.
Add to browned ground beef along with water and salsa. Heat to boil.
Reduce heat, simmer on low setting until reduced to desired consistency.
About 15 minutes
