Introduction

Someone posted a WW recipe here and I just modified it to have more veggies and a jar of sauce rather than stewed tomatoes. It was easy, simple and tasty. Ingredients

    1 Chicken breast (approx 6 oz)
    1/2 cup each - onion, mushroom, green pepper
    1 tsp minced garlic
    1 tsp olive oil
    1-1.5 cups cooked whole wheat pasta (I used spaghetti)
    1 cup roasted garlic pasta sauce

Directions

Cook and drain pasta - set aside
Chop onions, mushrooms and pepper
Heat 1tsp of olive oil in large skillet over med-high heat
Add garlic and veggies - cook until mushrooms release moisture
Pound and dice chicken breast
Add to veggie mixture and cook until brown on both sides
Add the pasta sauce , reduce heat and simmer approx 10-15 min
Mix in cooked pasta and serve
