Introduction

This is a recipe I developed after tasting it at the local farmer's market at a stand selling honey and honey products. Since I am diabetic, I developed this using an imitation honey. Ingredients

    1/4 cupImitation Honey Sugar Free,
    2 cups Sliced Raw Almonds,
    1 teaspoon Curry powder
    1 shake cayenne pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix honey and seasonings in a small microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds in microwave. Stir and pour over almonds in a bowl. Mix until almonds are evenly coated. Spray a small cookie sheet with nocstick spray. Spread almonds on pan. Toast in oven for 12-15 minutes until light golden. Watch carefully while toasting. Cool and enjoy. Makes 8 servings
