Ingredients

    3/4 cup sugar
    1 pound silken tofu
    8 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Directions

Combine sugar with 3/4 water, bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly. Melt chocolate.
Put all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Divide into 6 ramekins and chill for at least 30 minutes. Garnish with chocolate shavings or mint leaves if desired.

    Thanks so much for that, Buffy23. My husband gave me the recipe and I didn't think to ask him where he'd gotten it. Now that I check, I see that just about every newspaper in the US has reprinted it, so we probably didn't even need it here!
