Introduction

This is a family recipe that was passed down from my grandmother. This is a family recipe that was passed down from my grandmother.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 cup of rice - cooked in 3 cups of water
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 pound bacon, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 tbsp Chili powder


Directions

Cook rice according to package directions. Fry bacon, remove from pan. Cook onions and peppers in bacon fat until soft. Add cooked rice. Puree can of stewed tomatoes and pour in pan with rice, add chili powder and bacon. Mix together and enjoy.
