Introduction
This is a recipe from a popular restaurant from the Five Points area of Raleigh, NC. Texture is just right and the flavor unbelievable. I added a southwester flair by omitting the dry mustard and thyme and replacing it with cumin, chili powder and a bit of cayenne. Hi ...I'm just returning to Sparkpeople and I don't even know if anyone even follows me anymore ...but the recipe was for 4 patties at 246 calories. I suppose you could make 6 burgers and that would bring the calorie count down, but you would have a thinner patty.
