Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 Tbsp Shedd's Spread
1 Pound Top Sirloin Steak, cut into bite sized peices
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    2 Tbsp Celery, finely chopped
2 Cups Mushrooms, cut into 1/4" slices
    1 Red Onion, finely chopped
    1 Tsp dried thyme
    1 Tsp Cracked Black Pepper
    1 Bay Leaf, crumbled
    1/2 Pound Whole Wheat Fettuccine
    2 Quarts Boiling Water

Directions

In a heavy skillet ( I prefer the old Iron one), heat oil, add peices of steak, brown. Add Celery, Onion, and Mushrooms, cook until lightly golden, about 10 minutes. Add spices, and allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Add Beef Broth, if necessary to avoid sticking.

After the meat is browned, start the water for the pasta. Cook until al dente, drain. Stir in 2 Tbsp margarine.
