Ingredients

    1 lb approx top sirloin, cut in to thin strips
    2 tbsp oil
    1 lg tomato, coarsely chopped
    2 med green pepper, cut in to strips
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1/4 tsp each garlic salt, pepper, sugar
    1/8 tsp ground ginger
    1 tbsp cornstarch
    1/2 c consommé or bouillon (beef)
    2 c minute white rice

Directions

Cook rice, set aside. Brown meat quickly in hot oil. Add tomatoes, green peppers, soy sauce, and seasonings. Cover and cook 10 minutes, add blended consommé and cornstarch to meat and cook 10 minutes. Add rice and let sit until extra liquid is absorbed.
Serves approximately 4
