Introduction

This is my version of a fiber blend like metamucel. No sugar or anything artificial. The spices each have a health benefit for the colon. I take I tablespoon a day in a glass of water with about 1 oz of juice. All ingredients should be finely ground. This is my version of a fiber blend like metamucel. No sugar or anything artificial. The spices each have a health benefit for the colon. I take I tablespoon a day in a glass of water with about 1 oz of juice. All ingredients should be finely ground.

Ingredients

    1 cup ground psyllium husk
    1 cup ground flax seed
    3 Tablespoons Cinnamon
    1 tablespoon Chili powder
    2 tablespoons Ginger powder
    1 tablespoon ground cardamom

Directions

Makes 38 1 tablespoon servings:

mix all ingredients and store in a quart size jar. For your first batch, cut all the spice amounts in half until you see how you like the spiciness of the drink.

To serve: Mix 1 ounce of your favorite juice with eight ounces of water. Add one tablespoon mix and shake together. Drink QUICKLY or it will get too thick to drink!
