Ingredients

2 cups Rice (Uncooked ) *I use brown rice
2-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup butter (or margerine) cut into 4 or 5 chunks
1 package dry onion soup mix
4-8 center cut pork chops (vary number based on how many you are feeding...recipe based on 4 chops)
Directions
1. Brown chops in frying pan, if desired.
2. Place rice in 9x13 roasting pan
3. Add water and onion soup mix...mix with rice
4. Place the chunks of butter on top of the rice
5. Place pork chops on top
6. Cover casserole with foil, bake 350 degrees for 1 hour
