Introduction

Made with just a little bit of sugar (to mascerate the mint with) and stevia powder, this is a healthier version of refreshing lemonaide for a hot summer day. Made with just a little bit of sugar (to mascerate the mint with) and stevia powder, this is a healthier version of refreshing lemonaide for a hot summer day.
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    Juice of 3 freshly squeezed limes
    Juice of 3 freshly squeezed lemons
    (total approx 1 1/4cup juice)
    15 mint leaves
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    6 packets of SweetLeaf stevia powder
    8 cups cold water

Directions

In bottom of 2 quart + pitcher, mascerate (scrunch together) mint leaves and sugar until the mint is fragrant.

Squeeze lemons and limes to provide approximately 1 1/4 cup of juice. Pour over mint/lime mixture and stir to dissolve.

Add 8 cups cold water and stir to completely dissolve sugar. Add stevia powder, stirring well.

Chill and pour over ice to serve. Garnish with lemon and or lime wedges and mint if desired.

Makes 9 one cup servings at 30 calories each that are beyond yum!
