Introduction
No need to add sugar to this Chai. The blend of the spice in combination with the milk is all that you need. For Authentic Chai, use half and half in place of 1% milk, but be sure to account for the change in calories since this ingredient is the only one that accounts for calories in this drink. Ingredients

1 cup of water, heated to just boiling.
1 black tea bag
4 cardamon pods crushed
1" of a cinnamon stick
1/2 inch piece of ginger sliced
1 clove
1 cup of 1% milk
Directions
Place all spices in a tea bag or steeping container. Add tea back and spices to water. Allow to tea to steep for 10 minutes and the spices for 20 minutes. I make multiple batches at one time and store in the refrigerator. Add milk right before drinking. Can easily be heated on stove with milk in it, but do not allow it to boil. 1 recipe makes a 16oz cup of chai.
