Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8 C sliced apples
    2/3 C brown sugar, packed
    1/2 C flour
    1/2 C oatmeal
    3/4 tsp cinnamon
    3/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/3 C butter

Directions

Place sliced apples into greased 9 inch round pan. Mix all other ingredients and sprinkle onto apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30- 45 minutes or until bubbly. (The original recipe called for 4 cups of apples and serves six.) I use 8 cups of apples and it realistically serves about 8.

    This is the same recipe that is in my old Betty Crocker Cookbook. I am glad you entered this so I can add the nutrition info..This recipe is awesome!
    *Note* I had heaped my apples in pan and had to cook for 45 min.
