Introduction

A really nice meaty chili to warm you up on a cool fall day. A really nice meaty chili to warm you up on a cool fall day.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 Green Bell Pepper chopped
    1 Onion chopped
    2 tomatoes chopped
    1/2 cup of crumbled bacon
    1 pound of stew beef
    1 can of pureed Tomatoes
    1 tbsp of chili powder
    1 tbsp of taco mix
    1/2 cup of beef broth

Directions

In a Slow Cooker, place peppers, onions, and bacon in a thin layer along the bottom.
Flavor beef with salt and pepper, sear on all sides. Place this on top of your first layer.
Whisk together pureed tomatoes, taco mix, chili powder, and beef stock.
Pour Mixture as the top layer in the slow cooker.

Cook on High for 4 hours. Makes 6 1 cup servings
