Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2/3 cup uncooked oatmeal - (not instant)
    1/3 cup Bisquick Heart Smart Baking Mix
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tbsp. Splenda brown sugar blend
    1/4 tsp ginger
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp. Smart Balance - 37% Light Buttery Spread
    1/3 cup light vanilla soymilk
    1/4 cup applesauce - (unsweetened)
    1 cup apples - cored, peeled and diced
    1/8 tsp ground cloves

Directions

Set oven to 400 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix wet ingredients with dry. Fold in Apples.
Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and form 4 triangles of batter on sheet (leave room in between ’em -- they expand!). Or if you prefer, you can make one square and cut it into 4 triangles (will still need to leave room between them).
Bake for 10 minutes.

    Very easy to make. Made this with skim milk instead of soymilk, no buttery spread was used. All other ingredients were used. Doesn't really raise much, however, I enjoyed this tasty dessert. - 10/17/09
