Introduction

A very easy to make veg stir fry. A very easy to make veg stir fry.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    a small piece of ginger
    2-4 cloves of garlic
    2 green chilli peppers
1 cup of coarsely cut/shredded cabbage
7-8 big french beans, diagonally cut
1tbsp of sunflower oil (or any oil you like)
    Salt to taste ( I use1/4 tsp)

Directions

Shred the cabbage and cut the beans. I like the beans cut diagonally, about half an inch long. Microwave the beans on normal power for 20 seconds. Once they're a little soft take them out and mix in salt to taste and microwave for another 20 seconds. Microwave the cabbage for 20 seconds as well. I prefer not to add salt to the cabbage.
Grind/finely chop the ginger and garlic. Slice the chilli pepper in half down the middle to expose the seeds.

Heat the oil in heavy non stick pan. Once the oil's hot, add in the ginger and garlic (ground/chopped) and stir for about 30 seconds. Add in the sliced green chilli and keep stirring for another 30 seconds. Make sure you don't burn the ginger garlic. Now that the oil is flavoured, add in the beans. Stir fry for another minute and add in the cabbage. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. And you're done! This is best eaten hot. I find that the stir fry tends to get soggy cold. I enjoy the stir fry and a small cup of yogurt for dinner.
