Introduction

I threw everything into a crockpot and let it go to town. Be sure to add about 3 cups of water (I filled the tomato cans to get all of the extra juice). I also used the Hunts Diced Tomatoes with No Salt Added, but couldn't find it in the lists, so the sodium should be lower. I threw everything into a crockpot and let it go to town. Ingredients



    * Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 32 oz
    * Pumpkin, cooked, 4 cup, mashed
    * purple hull peas, 2 cup
    * Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    * Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, .5 cup
    * Jalapeno Peppers, 2 pepper
    * *Hunts Petite Diced Tomato, 3 cup
    * Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    * Garlic, 4 clove

Directions

Makes 5 quarts, or 20 1-cup servings. Awesome for the freezer.
