Introduction
C resent roll dough stuffed with a cream cheese blend and chicken C resent roll dough stuffed with a cream cheese blend and chickenNumber of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
Pound of boneless skinless chicken breast
1 8 OZ package of cream cheese
Shredded 3 cheese blend
2 table spoons sour cream
2 tubes of crescent rolls
Garlic powder
Italian seasoning
Directions
Cut chicken breast in to 1 inch pieces, then brown in a skillet.
Mix cooked chicken, cream cheese, sour cream and other ingredients in a bowl, place into fridge for now.
Unroll packages of crescent rolls, and separate into 4 squares (rectangles?). ( 2 "rolls" will make a square, you should end up with 4 per package-total of 8)
Roll out these rectangles, until they have doulbled in size, then line up filling in the middle. (Please take care to really seal the two rolls together during rolling, or they will separate at this point) Tuck in top and bottom, then fold the 2 sides over, and flip onto a greased cookie sheet. You will end up with 8 "cigars"!
For extra fat control, I have used "fat free" or "lite" versions of the cheese, cream cheese and crescent rolls, and they were still fabulous! You can also add in mushrooms, or tomato or onion to the filling, all awesome.
