Ground venison (or lean beef) and three different types of beans and corn make this a very filling soup. Great on a cool day. Ground venison (or lean beef) and three different types of beans and corn make this a very filling soup. Great on a cool day.

When I defrost my ground venison in the frig I poke several holes in the bottom of the plastic bag, place it in a bowl and allow it to drain. My DH can taste the difference.
I'll be putting this recipe together tomorrow morning & let it simmer all day long on low in the crock pot. YUM!

You are so welcome. Mine (husband) is leaving in the morning for pheasant hunting. Sorry about the large sodium, it is hard to keep everything low. Enjoy.
