Introduction

This is a healthy green smoothie that tastes just like pumpkin pie. Trust me--this is delicious! This is a healthy green smoothie that tastes just like pumpkin pie. Trust me--this is delicious!

Ingredients

    2 c fresh spinach
    2 c pumpkin puree
    1 T cinnamon
    1 t pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 c light coconut milk (optional--or just use regular milk)
    1/2 frozen banana
    1 T almond butter
    1/2 c soymilk
    1/2 T chia seeds (optional--could sub flax meal)
    6 ice cubes

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until blended. Add water to thin if it's too thick!

    Sounds yummy! I am going to try it this week and add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for more protien. - 11/15/09
