Ingredients

1 cup onion, chopped (one small onion)
1 cup carrot, chopped (5-6 carrots)
1 cup celery, chopped (about half a head)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 32-oz Jennie-O block of turkey ham, cubed
1 32-oz carton chicken broth
about 3 cups dried beans -- I used a lentil and bean mix from the dry bins at my favorite grocery store.
Directions
Soak beans overnight. Drain and place in slow cooker.
Add veggies, turkey ham and broth to slow cooker. Set on low before you leave for work and enjoy when you come home. Delicious with sourdough bread to sop up the broth.
