Introduction

Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 c. 100% pineapple juice
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 lbs. chicken breast tenderloins
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. cornstarch
Directions
Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice and garlic in a gallon ziploc bag. Add chicken and allow to marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
Preheat grill to med-high.
Transfer marinated meat to separate dish. In a small saucepan, heat marinade to a slow boil. Add in crushed red pepper and let simmer for 3 minutes. In a cup combine cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and stir until cornstarch is dissolved. Slowly add cornstarch mixture to marinade, stirring constantly until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Grill chicken for 2-4 minutes per side, turning once, until cooked through.
Serve chicken with sauce for dipping. Pineapple tidbits can also be added to the sauce, though have not been accounted for in nutrition info.
